RDM Quilts

Block Party Quilters are very passionate in support of the children at our local Ronald McDonald House. Over the course of 20 years, we made thousands of quilts, and still going. In 2007 alone, 480 quilts where delivered to the facility.
Despite a busy year, I managed to make 6 quilts. One of the quilts is on permanent display as wall decoration in the family room of the new RDM house extension. This quilt is made out of blocks of a Internet block exchange “Prettykittyblocks”, ergo all cats. The idea to donate especially this quilt came as I learned, that the children who stay at the RDM house are very ill with very heavy treatments shaking up their little bodies. The immune system of these kids is so fragile, they can not have a pet around for a long time, so I made a full variety of kitties as ”Pets”.
