4 more days…

Right now, I feel so good, very little impact from aftermath of surgery or chemo. All my taste buds are back in working order, the PT for the lymphedema works wonders! It is so much better. The only negative is a slight but constant weight gain caused by water retention in my body. I’m sure I’ll be able to lose it after all the treatments have stopped.
…but I know, it won’t last, because next week I’ll get poisoned again. My third chemo will be Monday morning. This also means, I’m halfway thru!
And I’m back to quilting. As usual, it’s always a good idea to have a deadline. This time it’s the Quilters Anonymous quilt show, starting next week. I entered 3 small quilts, and one is still under the needle…
… got to get working.
Thought it was time for another care package so I went to the bookshop today for an NZ Quilting mag to send you. A lady commented on me being on my knees in front of the magazines. I explained what I was looking for and why. When neither of us could find it she said, I have one at home, I’ve finished it, I’ll give it to you. She had just made a quilt for a friend of hers about to start Chemo. This complete stranger has just dropped the mag into my mailbox 30 minutes later. Generosity inspired by chemo, quilting, and the New Zealand spirit. I hope it brings you joy. It has certainly touched me.
