Fish, Fish, Shark…

School of Fish

… can you see the shark?
When I bought this pattern, it pictured some kind of a whimsical school of fish on a blue background, good idea, but
- I immediatly saw all the fish in silks, shiny stuff and the surround in hand-dyed fabrics. I especially like the tropical water effect with the corals and sea creatures.
Is it possible to purchase a pattern of the fish, fish, shark quilt?
Thank you,
Sue
I would really like to know where to purchase this pattern. Would you be willing to tell us please?
Cynthia,
I’m sorry, but it is nowhere to find. The quilt shop I got it has closed it’s doors for good.
I tried to contact the former owner, but so far – no luck. If I ever find out wher to get it, I’ll let you know.
Keep looking into my blog!
thanks

Lisa,
I was so excited when I stumbled across your blog that featured my pattern I forgot my manners. I really like what you did with the silk fabrics and so would my sister ( the shop owner). She has moved to Belguim. Her quilt shop there carries many silks and wools.
It is really fun to see everyones unique spin on the fish pattern. Your work is gorggeous!! Thank you for sharing your art. Janet

@ Janet,
Yes, I know your sister very well, and I know she’s in Belgium, just ask
her about me…
Last time I heard about you, she said you lived in Ellensburg/WA. So, here is the question: on the pattern it says designer Beth DeMille, how come? Please fill me in here.
Thank you for chiming in here, I was quite on a loss. When this quilt was exhibited at the QA quilt show in 2009, I also got requests, – which I can now fulfill! Thank you.
I liked your pattern, but added the twist with different materials, i.e. silk, lame, and hand-dyes from Judy Robertson.
Happy to get the connection,
Merry Christmas, and a happy new year
Lisa
